Rabbit Anti-NFKBIA Recombinant Antibody (VS13-YC799) (CAT#: VS13-YC799)
The Rabbit Anti-NFKBIA Recombinant Antibody is specific for human, mouse and rat NFKBIA. NFKBIA encodes an NF-kappa-B inhibitor with ankyrin repeat domains, interacting with REL dimers to inhibit NF-kappa-B/REL complexes. It shuttles between cytoplasm and nucleus and mutations can cause ectodermal dysplasia with immunodeficiency, with splice variants affecting its function. The anti-NFKBIA antibody can be used for Western blot (1/500-1/1000), Immunohistochemistry (1/50-1/100), Immunoprecipitation (1/20).
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Function
- Inhibits the activity of dimeric NF-kappa-B/REL complexes by trapping REL dimers in the cytoplasm through masking of their nuclear localization signals. On cellular stimulation by immune and proinflammatory responses, becomes phosphorylated promoting ubiquitination and degradation, enabling the dimeric RELA to translocate to the nucleus and activate transcription.
