Optimized for high-precision targeting, the AI-designed anti-NR2E1 antibody shows superior binding affinity for three species. NR2E1 (also known as TLX) is a nuclear receptor that functions as a master transcriptional repressor essential for the maintenance of neural stem cell (NSC) self-renewal. It operates as a critical hub in the Notch and Wnt signaling pathways, preventing premature neuronal differentiation by recruiting corepressors like LSD1 (KDM1A) and HDACs to the promoters of cell-cycle inhibitors and pro-differentiation genes. NR2E1 ensures that the pool of NSCs is preserved during brain development and throughout adult neurogenesis in the hippocampus and subventricular zone.
