Recombinant Anti-PF4 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (16D6-3 var.)

The anti-PF4 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human PF4. PF4 is a chemokine involved in platelet aggregation and exhibits antimicrobial properties. The antibody has a novel PF4-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble PF4 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
