The anti-PRSS57 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against mouse PRSS57. PRSS57 may play a role in microbial defense by activating in neutrophils. The antibody has a novel PRSS57-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble PRSS57 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
