Recombinant Anti-REG3A Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (CBR255 var.)

The anti-REG3A eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against mouse REG3A. REG3A, a regenerating islet-derived protein, plays a role in intestinal health. The antibody has a novel REG3A-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble REG3A from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
