Recombinant Anti-REG4 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (Reg4-G7 var.)

The anti-REG4 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human REG4. REG4, linked to cancer, affects cell growth and survival, particularly in the gastrointestinal tract. The antibody has a novel REG4-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble REG4 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
