Recombinant Anti-SERPINA1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (3H12-2C2 var.)

The anti-SERPINA1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human SERPINA1. SERPINA1 prevents tissue damage by inhibiting serine proteases, with deficiencies leading to lung and liver diseases. The antibody has a novel SERPINA1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble SERPINA1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
