Recombinant Anti-TFF1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (1F9 var.)

The anti-TFF1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human TFF1. TFF1 is a gastrointestinal protective protein with potential tumor implications. The antibody has a novel TFF1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble TFF1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
