Mouse Anti-TSPAN15 Recombinant Antibody (clone VS0724W4)

CAT#: VS-0724-FY19

This is a mouse antibody that specially recognizes human TSPAN15. VS0724W4 has been reported to partially inhibit cleavage of VE-cadherin by ADAM10 in a cell-based cleavage assay. The antibody contact site is primarily located in the loop formed by the C198-C219 disulfide bond, which also contains a small helical segment.

  • Function
  • This interaction is required for ADAM10 exit from the endoplasmic reticulum and for enzymatic maturation and trafficking to the cell surface as well as substrate specificity.
Different TspanC8/ADAM10 complexes have distinct substrates.
    Promotes ADAM10-mediated cleavage of CDH2.
Negatively regulates ligand-induced Notch activity probably by regulating ADAM10 activity.
