The anti-VASH2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human VASH2. VASH2, involved in angiogenesis regulation, is expressed in endothelial cells in response to angiogenic factors. The antibody has a novel VASH2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble VASH2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
