Recombinant Anti-VTN Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (CBV265 var.)

The anti-VTN eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against mouse VTN. VTN, an extracellular glycoprotein binding to matrix components, increases in response to retinal damage. The antibody has a novel VTN-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble VTN from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
