The antibody-oligo conjugation kit is designed for easy and efficient conjugation of antibodies with amine-modified oligos. The kit includes all the necessary components for the conjugation process, including reagents for converting the amine-oligo to a maleimide-oligo, for converting surface amines of the antibody to thiol groups, and for reacting the maleimide-modified oligo with the antibody to generate the conjugates.
The user simply needs to supply their own antibody and amine-modified oligo, preferably a C6 amino modified oligo. The kit provides step-by-step instructions for the conjugation process, which can be completed in just a few hours. After conjugation, any unreacted thiols on the antibody are capped to ensure the purity of the final conjugate.
The final conjugate is desalted and buffer exchanged with PBS buffer, making it ready for use in various applications, such as immunoassays, immunofluorescence, and protein detection. This kit is ideal for researchers looking to label antibodies with oligos for specific applications in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry.

- 1) One, two, three, or six 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes with less than 1 mg of N-(ε-Maleimidocaproyloxy) succinimide (EMCS) (non-hazardous).
2) One or three 0.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes with less than 5 mg of Reagent A (non-hazardous).
3) One or three 0.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes with 50 μL of Reagent B solution (non-hazardous).
4) A 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tube with 0.5 mL of solution A (hazardous).
5) A tube with 0.5, 4, or 12 mL of buffer A (non-hazardous).
6) A tube with 4 or 12 mL of buffer B (non-hazardous).
7) A tube with 4 or 12 mL of phosphate-buffered saline (non-hazardous).
8) Plastic bags containing centrifugal filter devices, desalting spin columns, and microcentrifuge tubes (non-hazardous).
- Product Precautions
- This kit is versatile and can be used to conjugate 4-15 nmol of oligos in different configurations depending on the length. It is suitable for labeling short oligos (5-30 bases), medium oligos (31-59 bases), and long oligos (≥60 bases).
- Kit Storage
- Upon receiving the items, please store Box 1 in a freezer at -20°C or below and remove from the package. Store Box 2 in a refrigerator at 2-8°C.
