Recombinant Anti-PRPS1 Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC5) (CAT#: VS-0425-YC5)
The Recombinant Anti-PRPS1 Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC5) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to PRPS1-expressed cells or tissues. The PRPS1 is an enzyme that is critical for purine metabolism and nucleotide biosynthesis. Genetic defects in this gene are linked to phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase superactivity, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, and Arts Syndrome.

- Introduction
- This gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the phosphoribosylation of ribose 5-phosphate to 5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate, which is necessary for purine metabolism and nucleotide biosynthesis. Defects in this gene are a cause of phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase superactivity, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease X-linked recessive type 5 and Arts Syndrome.
