Background
ISS 1018, a short, synthetic, unmethylated CpG oligodeoxynucleotide (CpG ODN) with immunostimulatory properties, is being investigated alongside the HBsAg vaccine as a prophylactic to prevent hepatitis B in adults, and in combination with rituximab for b-cell or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma treatment.
