Recombinant Human Antibody (4M5. 3) is capable of binding to Fluorescein, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-Fluorescein mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-Fluorescein mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition.

A type-matched, non-specific, human IgG1 k polyclonal antibody (Hu IgG1 polyclonal) and cells labeled with biotin (PEG-biotin) instead of fluorescein were used as negative controls. Pre-incubation of the 4m5.3 IgG with 10 mM fluorescein was also done to demonstrate specificity.
