Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Specific GRPR Detection in IF
This mouse antibody (clone 39B3) worked very well for Immunofluorescence staining of GRPR in our cell culture models. We are studying the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor in the context of lung cancer, and this reagent allowed us to visualize receptor expression clearly. The IgG2a isotype controls matched perfectly, confirming specificity.
Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Reliable for IP and WB
We have used this antibody for both Immunoprecipitation and Western Blotting. It successfully pulled down the GRPR protein from lysates and detected it on the blot. It is a robust tool for studying G-protein coupled receptors, and its ability to recognize the human antigen has been vital for our research.

Q&As

  1. Can this antibody detect GRPR in Immunofluorescence assays?

A: Yes, this Mouse Anti-GRPR Recombinant Antibody (clone 39B3) has been reported for use in Immunofluorescence (IF) assays. It specifically recognizes Human GRPR (Gastrin-Releasing Peptide Receptor). It is also suitable for Western Blot (WB), Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), and Immunoprecipitation (IP).

  2. What is the function of the protein targeted by this antibody?

A: The target, Gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR), regulates functions of the gastrointestinal and central nervous systems, including hormone release and smooth muscle contraction. It is a G-protein coupled receptor that activates the phospholipase C signaling pathway and is often aberrantly expressed in cancers of the lung, colon, and prostate.
