Anti-MK2-23 idiotype antibody is a Mouse of scFv class that binds to an MK2-23 idiotype. The antibody binds specifically to MK2-23, an idiotypic monoclonal antibody known to induce immunity in patients with malignant melanoma.
Figure 1 Packing of the anti-anti-id Fab fragment of mAb GH1002 in tetragonal unit cell viewed in stereo approximately down the z axis of the coordinate system.
There are eight asymmetric units in this unit cell, each formed by one Fab. The two 2-fold crystallographically related Fab fragments forming a complex are colored in red, green, blue and yellow, and the coordinate axes are in red. The Figure was generated with ''O'' (Jones & Kjeldgaard, 1990), and displayed on an SGI 320 VGX workstation.

Figure 2 Particle size distribution determined using light scattering.
Two different measurements are combined in this Figure. The distribution indicated by a broken line was obtained by measuring a solution containing a Fab fragment of an anti-anti-idiotopic mAb GH1002; as a control, the continuous line represents the distribution of mass in a solution containing a Fab fragment of idiotopic mAb 763-74. The average hydrodynamic radius of particles is 69A° and 51A°, respectively, corresponding to a dimer formed by a head-to-head interaction of two Fab fragments and a monomer. The
measurement was performed for a duration of 60 seconds at 295 K.

Figure 3 Powell minimized Fo - Fc omit-map for CDRs of anti-anti-id mAb GH1002.
The model bias was minimized by refining the model lacking CDRs and subsequently calculating the map. CDR loops are stick model in white, the rest of the molecule is shown as a Ca trace, and symmetry-related atoms are in red. The Figure was generated with ''O'' (Jones & Kjeldgaard, 1990), and displayed on an SGI 320 VGX workstation.
