Mouse Anti-PGF Recombinant Antibody (clone C9.V2)

C9.V2 is a monoclonal antibody derived from a synthetic naive human antibody phage library, and is able to block both mouse and human P1GF binding to VEGFR1 without interfering with VEGF binding to the same receptor.

Effective Blocking Antibody
We needed an antibody to block P1GF binding to VEGFR1, and clone C9.V2 worked exactly as described. It did not interfere with VEGF binding, which was crucial for our specificity controls.
High Affinity Reagent
The affinity of this antibody is quite high, with a Kd of 9.0 nM. We used it in ELISA and Western Blotting with great success. The purity determined by HPLC gave us confidence in our quantitative results.
