A recombinant humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody that binds to and inhibits the biologic activity of human vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This antibody contains human framework regions and the complementarity-determining regions of a murine antibody that binds to VEGF. This antibody is produced in a Chinese Hamster Ovary mammalian cell expression system in a nutrient medium containing the antibiotic gentamicin and has a molecular weight of approximately 149 kilodaltons.
Figure 1 Bevacizumab (TP-078CL) in WB
Western blot analysis of TP-078CL was performed by loading Human VEGF165 Protein (His Tag) onto a 12% Tris-HCl polyacrylamide gel. Proteins were transferred to a CN membrane and blocked with 5% skim milk for at least one hour. Membranes were probed with TP-078CL and HRP Goat Anti-Human IgG as a secondary antibody. Chemiluminescent detection was performed.

Western blot analysis of TP-078CL was performed by loading Human VEGF121 Protein (His Tag) onto a 12% Tris-HCl polyacrylamide gel. Proteins were transferred to a CN membrane and blocked with 5% skim milk for at least one hour. Membranes were probed with TP-078CL and HRP Goat Anti-Human IgG as a secondary antibody. Chemiluminescent detection was performed.

ELISA analysis of TP-078CL was performed by coating with Human VEGF165 Protein (His Tag). Then blocked with BSA, and incubated with TP-078CL. The HRP-conjugated goat anti-human IgG as a secondary antibody. Detection was performed using TMB substrate and stopped with sulfuric acid. The absorbances were read on a spectrophotometer at 450 nm.
