Recombinant Anti-ADAMTS4 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC2)

The anti-ADAMTS4 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human ADAMTS4. ADAMTS4 is a protease degrading cartilage proteoglycans, contributing to arthritis progression. The antibody has a novel ADAMTS4-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble ADAMTS4 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
