Recombinant Anti-ASGR1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (C2 var.)

The anti-ASGR1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human ASGR1. ASGR1 is a receptor subunit critical for serum glycoprotein homeostasis. The antibody has a novel ASGR1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble ASGR1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
