The anti-BLOC1S3 recombinant antibody (BL748) reacts with human BLOC1S3. BLOC1S3 is a component of the BLOC-1 complex required for normal intracellular vesicle trafficking. It works alongside other subunits to ensure the proper formation of endosomal-lysosomal systems. Mutations in this specific subunit are associated with Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome type 8. The anti-BLOC1S3 antibody (BL748) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
