The anti-CA6 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC372) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human carbonic anhydrase VI protein (CA6). This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to CA6. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of CA6 on cells and tissues. Human CA6 (Carbonic Anhydrase VI) is an enzyme found in saliva that is involved in taste perception and maintaining oral pH.
