Recombinant Anti-CETP Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (1C var.)

The anti-CETP eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and rabbit CETP. CETP transfers cholesteryl ester in plasma, with defects causing hyperalphalipoproteinemia. The antibody has a novel CETP-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CETP from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
