Immunofluorescence reactions of monoclonal antibody 4D4 with astrocytoma transfectants expressing glycoprotein B (U373gB1). Coverslip cultures of astrocytoma cells were subjccted to indirect immunofluorescence with mAb 4D4. Fixation was performed with 4% paraformaldehyde/acetone/methanol (a, c) or with 0.1% paraformaldchyde (b) for cell surface fluorescence. Control experiments were performed with astrocytoma parental cells U373 and 4D4(c). Antibody was used at a concentration of 2.5 mg/ml.

Fixation was performed with 4% paraformaldehyde/acetone/methanol.
