Mouse Anti-DFFB Recombinant Antibody (DF135)

The anti-DFFB recombinant antibody (DF135) reacts with human DFFB. DFFB (also known as CAD) is the nuclease responsible for the characteristic internucleosomal DNA fragmentation during apoptosis. It is normally kept inactive by its inhibitor, DFFA (ICAD). Upon caspase-3 activation, ICAD is cleaved, releasing active DFFB to translocate to the nucleus and dismantle the genome. This is the final biochemical hallmark of programmed cell death. The anti-DFFB antibody (DF135) has been tested in Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Flow Cytometry (FC).
