The anti-DPEP3 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC103) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human DPEP3. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to DPEP3. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of DPEP3 on cells and tissues. Human DPEP3, or Dipeptidase 3, is a cell surface enzyme that is involved in the metabolism of dipeptides. Its precise biological function is not fully understood, but it may play a role in drug metabolism.
