Rabbit Anti-DUT Recombinant Antibody (clone R89-6Y-1) (CAT#: VS3-XY3340)

The antibody is a recombinant rabbit antibody targeting the human deoxyuridine triphosphatase (DUT), which inhibits peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) activity by binding of its N-terminal to PPAR. This antibody specifically reacts with human DUT. It has been determined using Western Blot, Flow cytometry, Immunocytochemistry or Immunofluorescence. The recommended dilutions of Western Blot, Flow cytometry and Immunofluorescence is 1/500-1/1000, 1/50 and 1/50-1/200, respectively.

  • Function
  • Catalyzes the cleavage of 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate (dUTP) into 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate (dUMP) and inorganic pyrophosphate and through its action efficiently prevents uracil misincorporation into DNA and at the same time provides dUMP, the substrate for de novo thymidylate biosynthesis. Inhibits peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) activity by binding of its N-terminal to PPAR, preventing the latter's dimerization with retinoid X receptor. Essential for embryonic development.
