Recombinant Anti-F2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (h1601-008 var.)

The anti-F2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and monkey F2. F2 produces thrombin, integral to coagulation and possessing antimicrobial properties. The antibody has a novel F2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble F2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
