Recombinant Anti-GHRL Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (4641 var.)

The anti-GHRL eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human GHRL. GHRL is a peptides influencing appetite and energy homeostasis, with ghrelin stimulating growth hormone release. The antibody has a novel GHRL-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble GHRL from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
