Recombinant Anti-GIP Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC132)

The anti-GIP eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and mouse GIP. GIP is an incretin hormone promoting insulin secretion post-meal, essential for maintaining glucose homeostasis. The antibody has a novel GIP-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble GIP from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
