The anti-GKN1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and mouse GKN1. GKN1 is down-regulated in gastric cancer compared to normal tissue. The antibody has a novel GKN1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble GKN1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
