Anti-gp120-mc-MMAF ADC (CAT#: ADC-208LZY)

This ADC product is composed of an anti-gp120 antibody conjugated via mc linker to MMAF (anti-gp120-mc-MMAF). It has demonstrated a response in human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) treatment by a MOA (Mechanism of Action) of microtubules depolymerizing.

Specifications

  • Antibody Overview
  • Mouse Anti-gp120 IgG1
  • Antibody Isotype
  • IgG1
  • Linker
  • mc(maleimidocaproyl)
  • Linker Class/Description
  • Class: Noncleavable linker
Description: Noncleavable linker is considered noncleavable-meaning linker cleavage, and payload release does not depend on the differential properties between the plasma and some cytoplasmic compartments. Instead, the release of the cytotoxic drug is postulated to occur after internalization of the ADC via antigen-mediated endocytosis and delivery to lysosomal compartment, where the antibody is degraded to the level of amino acids through intracellular proteolytic degradation
  • Drug
  • MMAF (monomethyl auristatin F)
  • Drug Class/Description
  • Class: Auristatin
Description: Auristatins are water-soluble dolastatin analogs of dolastatin 10. Dolastatin 10 belongs to dolastatin family and it can powerfully bind to tubulin, thus inhibiting polymerization mediated through the binding to the vinca alkaloid binding domain, and causes cell to accumulate in metaphase arrest.

Target

  • Introduction
  • HIV1 is equipped with the envelope gp160 glycoprotein for interaction with Langerhans cells (LCs) and dendritic cells (DCs), the members of the innate immune system, which confront the virus at the portal of virus entry in the human body. These cells are equipped with receptors by which they bind and endocytose the virus. The gp120 glycoprotein is used for binding to CD4 receptor and CCR5 co-receptor of T helper 2 (Th2) cells, and is able to induce FcepsilonRI(+) hematopoietic cells to produce IL4, which inactivates the host adaptive immune response.
  • Alternative Names
  • ENV; gp160; envelope glycoprotein; Envelope surface glycoprotein gp160, precursor; hypothetical protein; Envelope surface glycoprotein gp120; Envelope transmembrane domain
