GSTT2B is a member of the theta class of GSTs involved in the metabolism of oxidized lipids and halogenated compounds. Often found as a gene/pseudogene variation, its signaling role is primarily focused on the protection of the genome from reactive metabolites in the liver and gastrointestinal tract. These anti-GSTT2B antibodies are widely used in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP) and Western Blot (WB).
