Mouse Anti-GUCA2A Recombinant Antibody (GU589)

The anti-GUCA2A recombinant antibody (GU589) reacts with human GUCA2A. GUCA2A (Guanylin) is an endogenous peptide secreted by the intestinal mucosa. It binds and activates the guanylate cyclase C (GC-C) receptor. This triggers an increase in cGMP, leading to chloride and water secretion into the lumen, thereby regulating intestinal fluid homeostasis and electrolyte transport. The anti-GUCA2A antibody (GU589) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
