Mouse Anti-IDH3G Recombinant Antibody (clone 2506W14)
CAT#: VS-0625-FY32
The Mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody, clone 2506W14, specifically targets human IDH3G. Its immunogen is a recombinant Rat IDH3G fusion protein, with an epitope mapping to amino acids 363-389. With an approximate antigen size of 45 kDa, this antibody is suitable for Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA, providing reliable detection for IDH3G.

- Function
- Regulatory subunit which plays a role in the allosteric regulation of the enzyme catalyzing the decarboxylation of isocitrate (ICT) into alpha-ketoglutarate.
The heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and beta (IDH3B) subunits and the heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and gamma (IDH3G) subunits, have considerable basal activity but the full activity of the heterotetramer (containing two subunits of IDH3A, one of IDH3B and one of IDH3G) requires the assembly and cooperative function of both heterodimers.
