Rabbit Anti-INHA Recombinant Antibody (clone R06-7J6) (CAT#: VS3-XY3394)

The rabbit recombinant antibody specifically recognizes INHA (Inhibin subunit alpha). It reacts with human, mouse and rat INHA. It has been tested using Western Blot and Flow cytometry. The recommended dilutions of Western Blot and Flow cytometry is 1/500-1/1000 and 1/50-1/100, respectively.

  • Function
  • Inhibins and activins inhibit and activate, respectively, the secretion of follitropin by the pituitary gland.
Inhibins/activins are involved in regulating a number of diverse functions such as hypothalamic and pituitary hormone secretion, gonadal hormone secretion, germ cell development and maturation, erythroid differentiation, insulin secretion, nerve cell survival, embryonic axial development or bone growth, depending on their subunit composition.
Inhibins appear to oppose the functions of activins.
