- This antibody is specifically designed to target alpha and beta heavy chains of myosin. It is capable of cross-reacting with heavy chains derived from human myosin in various muscle types, including slow skeletal muscle, fast skeletal muscle, and eye muscle, as well as with the streptococcal M5 peptide. Notably, this antibody does not interact with human platelets, smooth muscle myosin heavy chains, myosin light chains, or myosin fragments found in the blood of patients who have suffered a myocardial infarction. Additionally, it shows no reaction with other human tissue antigens or blood cells.
