The anti-NRXN3 recombinant antibody (NR1081) reacts with human NRXN3. NRXN3 is a presynaptic cell-adhesion molecule that interacts with postsynaptic neuroligins. Extensive alternative splicing of NRXN3 generates a high diversity of receptors that specify synaptic properties. NRXN3 signaling is essential for synaptic transmission and plasticity; genetic variants are associated with susceptibility to addiction and autism. The anti-NRXN3 antibody (NR1081) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
