Recombinant Anti-OMD Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (CBO272 var.)

The anti-OMD eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against mouse OMD. OMD, expressed in mineralized tissues, influences collagen structure and is linked to bone diseases. The antibody has a novel OMD-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble OMD from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
