Recombinant Anti-PAPPA Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (ABa01 var.)

The anti-PAPPA eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human PAPPA. PAPPA is a metalloproteinase affecting IGF availability, associated with cancer and inflammation. The antibody has a novel PAPPA-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble PAPPA from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
