The anti-PF4V1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human PF4V1. PF4V1, similar to PF4, shows antiangiogenic properties and impairs tumor growth. The antibody has a novel PF4V1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble PF4V1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
