This is a potent, human-derived monoclonal IgG1 antibody elicited by the WHO-recommended R21/Matrix-M malaria vaccine. Encoded by the near-germline IGHV3-33 gene, it targets the immunodominant NANP major repeat of the PfCSP protein.
