Recombinant Anti-POSTN Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (Clone C2 var.)

The anti-POSTN eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human POSTN. POSTN, also known as periostin, is associated with osteoblast-specific activities. The antibody has a novel POSTN-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble POSTN from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
