The AbPlus Anti-PRKD2 Magnetic Beads (VS-0724-YC1275) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-PRKD2 specific antibody. The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of PRKD2 protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- The beads are in suspension and will settle upon storage. Prior to use, mix the vial gently (do not vortex) to ensure delivery of proper bead volume.

- Introduction
- The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the protein kinase D (PKD) family of serine/threonine protein kinases. This kinase can be activated by phorbol esters as well as by gastrin via the cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR) in gastric cancer cells. It can bind to diacylglycerol (DAG) in the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and may regulate basolateral membrane protein exit from TGN.
