Mouse Anti-QPCT Recombinant Antibody (QP704)

The anti-QPCT recombinant antibody (QP704) reacts with human QPCT. QPCT (QC) is the enzyme responsible for the formation of N-terminal pyroglutamate (pGlu) residues on various peptides. This modification is essential for the stability and activity of hormones like TRH and GnRH. QPCT signaling is also implicated in the formation of neurotoxic pGlu-amyloid beta species in Alzheimer's disease. The anti-QPCT antibody (QP704) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
