Rabbit Anti-RAB11A Recombinant Antibody (clone R06-7F2) (CAT#: VS3-XY3484)

It is a recombinant rabbit antibody targeting the RAB11A (RAB11A, member RAS oncogene family), which acts as a major regulator of membrane delivery during cytokinesis. RAB11A may also play a role in melanosome transport and release from melanocytes. The antibody specifically reacts with human, mouse and rat RAB11A. It has been determined using Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. The recommended dilutions of Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation is 1/500-1/1000 and 1/20, respectively.

  • Function
  • The small GTPases Rab are key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes.
Rabs cycle between an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound form that is able to recruit to membranes different set of downstream effectors directly responsible for vesicle formation, movement, tethering and fusion.
The small Rab GTPase RAB11A regulates endocytic recycling.
