Recombinant Anti-S100A8 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (5.5 var.)

The anti-S100A8 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human S100A8. S100A8, impacting inflammatory responses, is linked to diseases like cystic fibrosis. The antibody has a novel S100A8-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble S100A8 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
