Mouse Anti-SUCLG2 Recombinant Antibody (clone 2506W53)

CAT#: VS-0625-FY90

This Mouse IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody, clone 2506W53, specifically targets human SUCLG2. It was raised against an internal region of human SUCLG2 (amino acids 121-229). With an observed antigen size of about 37 kDa (calculated 51.58 kDa), this antibody is validated for Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA, offering versatile detection capabilities for SUCLG2.

Target

  • Alternative Names
  • G-SCS; GBETA; GTPSCS
  • Long Name
  • succinate-CoA ligase GDP-forming subunit beta
  • Sequence Similarities
  • Belongs to the succinate/malate CoA ligase beta subunit family. GTP-specific subunit beta subfamily.
  • Cellular Localization
  • Mitochondrion
  • Post Translation Modifications
  • Ubiquitination at Lys118
    Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
Glycosylation from GlyGen 1 site, 1 O-linked glycan
  • Function
  • GTP-specific succinyl-CoA synthetase functions in the citric acid cycle (TCA), coupling the hydrolysis of succinyl-CoA to the synthesis of GTP and thus represents the only step of substrate-level phosphorylation in the TCA.
The beta subunit provides nucleotide specificity of the enzyme and binds the substrate succinate, while the binding sites for coenzyme A and phosphate are found in the alpha subunit.
