Clone R68-6F-6 is a rabbit IgG recombinant monoclonal antibody that is specifically engineered to target human TBXA2R protein, a calculated weight of 37 kDa. It cross-reacts with mouse, rat.
The following recommendations serve as a starting point for assay optimization. The actual working concentration may vary and should be determined by the user. The R68-6F-6 is recommended for detection of target protein by western blotting (dilution range 1:500-1:1000).

- Function
- Receptor for thromboxane A2 (TXA2), a potent stimulator of platelet aggregation. The activity of this receptor is mediated by a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. In the kidney, the binding of TXA2 to glomerular TP receptors causes intense vasoconstriction. Activates phospholipase C.
